Lotus Series 2023-2024

The Lotus Series is the latest body of work I created at the end of 2023 and beginning on 2024. The lotus is a metaphor in several traditions around the world for the path of self discovery as it finds its roots in the deep, dark muddy waters, and slowly emerges to find its full bloom above the surface.

The repetitive horizontal layers found in the Lotus Series are a representation of the Lotus’ movement as it travels upwards to its full expression.
